Our Air Shade 3.5

The Quest Air Shade 3.5 is a simplified version of our best-selling Air Gazebo 3.0. Set up from a single inflation point, it’s fast and easy to pitch with ample headroom plus superb stability via guy ropes and with the forgiveness of the inflatable frame. The durable 100% polyester QTex 2000 fabric offers reliable protection from the weather; optional side walls can be added to enclose the gazebo from weather and/or insects.

The Quest Air Shade 3.5 packs up much smaller, and lighter than a traditional gazebo. It includes a high-volume hand pump, most people can pump up the shade in only a few minutes. The fully seam-sealed canopy provides maximum protection from wind and rain. The canopy also has a UV rating of UPF 50+.

The fully inflatable frame is extremely durable and encased with a tough surrounding protective sleeve to reduce the chance of damage & punctures, it’s extremely rigid when pumped up to the correct pressure ensuring it can pretty much handle anything mother nature can throw at it, well almost!

It comes with a removable floor to help with setup and provides further protection from wet ground.

Finally, a shelter that handles Wilsons Prom weather
We car-camp from a mid-sized SUV, so space and weight are both at a premium. A gazebo was never practical for us, so for three years I persevered with a basic tarp, ropes and poles.
We camp regularly at Wilsons Promontory, where the weather can change quickly and the wind can be severe. After one night when the tarp tore - and after too many hurried midnight trips outside to stop it coming loose or collapsing onto the tent - I had enough.
I bought the Air Shade 3.0 and have not looked back. It sets up very quickly, is lightweight, tough, and packs down surprisingly small. More importantly, it has eliminated the constant worry of checking whether the tarp has worked loose overnight.
I replaced the supplied guy ropes with heavier-duty ones and use trace springs at the pegs to compensate for the lack of stretch in my ropes. In strong winds, I no longer worry about the shelter surviving the night. We have had gusts of around 70 km/h, and it was still standing the following morning while more traditional setups around us had struggled/perished or been dismantled.
For compact car camping in exposed conditions, it has been one of the best gear purchases we have made.

Mothers Day Lunch
I purchased the Quest 3.5m air shade for upcoming camping trips as it is so lightweight compared to a traditional framed gazebo. Once we worked out that the supplied hand pump was in fact better than the 12v inflatable pump, we never looked back. It provided great stability and shade and the 2.45m height was excellent also. Very happy with our purchase.

Highly Recommended
Went camping over the weekend, and our friends were impressed by how quickly it set up. In the wind, as promised, it didn’t move an inch. And best of all, the shade was incredible no heat came through, and it kept us perfectly cool.
